At 10:45pm sharp, 5 th January, 21 years ago, I was brought to this world as one of His servants and His caliphate to be tested. For that, my parents named me as “ALIA”, just ALIA. When asked, my mother said, “we want to ease your future husband for the ‘akad nikah’ things”. I was raised as the third from 6 siblings. My school background was more towards religious school. People who did not recognize me would expect me to be like ‘ustazah’ but actually, that is not the case. I was raised in a small circle of friends, I did not have many friends, that it is my safe zone. But life changes, I met with new friends, I make a new circle.
